Old Bedford: A Living History Village
One of the great things about being in Pittsburgh is our close proximity to so many interesting--and entertaining!--historical sites and opportunities.

Women's History Month Keynote Speaker: Dr. Regina G. Lawrence
The Center for Women's and Gender Studies at Duquesne University has organized a series of events addressing the
theme, "Women and Politics," for Women's History Month 2012.
Dr. Regina G. Lawrence, author
of Hillary Clinton's Race for the White
House: Gender Politics and the Media on the Campaign Trail, will
deliver the keynote presentation on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 7pm in the Power
Center Ballroom. This event is free and open to the public, and a
reception and book signing will follow her talk.
Dr. Lawrence will meet with
interested students and faculty earlier that same day for an informal
conversation about gender, politics, and the media.
